Close the parasol even when not in use for a short period of time.
Secure the closed parasol with the webbing.
To protect against premature fading or contamination of any kind, provide the closed parasol with a protective cover.
When not in use for a longer period of time (e.g. winter months), store the parasol and accessories in a dry and dust-free room.
Avoid temperature fluctuations during storage. This can lead to the formation of condensation (risk of mold stains and mold forming).
The temperature range should not exceed -20 °C to +70 °C.
Make sure the parasol is dry, especially if the parasol is not being used for a long period of time. Otherwise, mildew and mold may form.
Remove loose dirt or leaves with a brush.
By rinsing regularly with clean water, you can prevent major contamination.
If the parasol is particularly dirty, it can be hand washed with lukewarm water and mild soapy water. To do this, use a sponge or a soft brush. It is important to let the parasol dry while it is open.
Attention, the following types of cleaning are not suitable:
Use of high-pressure cleaners (removes the protective impregnation)
Wash the cover in the washing machine (removes the protective impregnation and attacks the seams)
Abrasive or harsh cleaning agents
Clean with hot water (may cause fabric to shrink)
Check screws and joints at regular intervals.
All moving parts can be kept smooth with silicone spray. Be careful not to dirty the cover
